| Order and payment records | Tax and accounting | Legal obligation |
| Server logs, such as IP address | To keep the site secure and working | Legitimate interest |
We don't see or store your card details. Stripe handles those. We don't sell data, and we won't send you marketing unless you've asked us to.
If you're giving us someone else's details
Please only enter details you have a good reason to use, and only for a good-humoured gift.
If you've received something from us, someone who knows you gave us your name and address so it could be posted to you. We use them only for that, and we remove them 120 days after the order finishes. You can ask us to remove them sooner: email us and we'll do it. If you'd rather not receive anything from us again, tell us that too, and we'll do our best to stop it, keeping only what we need to.
Who sees it
- Stripe takes payment and collects the delivery address.
- Prodigi prints and posts your order, and receives the document and the delivery address. Its print sites may be in or outside the UK.
- Royal Mail or another carrier delivers it.
- Mailgun sends our emails.
- Krystal hosts the site in the UK.
Where a provider handles data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the standard contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Unpaid forms you started and didn't finish: deleted after 14 days.
- Printable artwork files: deleted 60 days after your order is complete.
- The recipient's name and address, and the wording: removed 120 days after your order is complete.
- Exemption Papers links: switched off after 31 January 2027.
- Server logs: 14 days.
- Your email, and the amounts and dates of your order: six years, as tax law requires.
Private links
Your case page and Exemption Papers open from long private links, with no password. Anyone you give them to can open them, so please share them with care.
Cookies
We set two small cookies to make the site's forms work and keep them secure, and they need no consent. We don't currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll ask you first.
Exemption Papers save a copy on the phone so that they work without signal. That stays on the device.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to have a copy to take elsewhere. These rights apply to recipients as well as buyers. Email hello@dunkdigital.com, and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with our answer, please tell us first, and we'll look into it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
